Manual on or auto on - Echoflex controllers intuitively decide

Echoflex controllers intuitively activate the control you desire

If the controller has only learned an switch it can perform manual on/ manual off or be a timed switch (see switches)

If the controller only knows an occupancy sensor, it defaults to auto on / auto off

If the controller knows a switch and an occupancy sensor, it defaults to manual on / auto off

A controller can learn 30 devices right off the shelf - if it learns 30 occupancy sensors it will only turn off when it has received an off signal from each sensor.

A sensor can be learned to as many controllers as are in range.

No adjustments are made to the sensor, all time outs and commissioning points reside in the controller.

Echoflex occupancy sensors have exceeded anything in the market for performance in the self powered catagory. Great detection range, great transmission range, and industry leading life without light. See http://www.echoflexsolutions.com/node/217

Auto on - Auto off Sensor Only

Echoflex controllers, if they only know an occupancy sensor, will default to auto on - auto off, with a 15 minute time out. Optional timeouts are commissionable using various methods tools including smartclick, simpletap, and a USB interface (see installation instructions). Time outs options are 5, 10, 20 and 25 minutes with the flexibility in the firmware designs to give longer project specific delays.

Manual on - auto off switch and sensor

Echoflex controllers, if they know a switch and occupancy sensor, will default to manual on - auto off, with a 15 minute time out. Optional timeouts are commissionable as above. Multiple switches or sensors can be added via the various learn in options. Multi way switching and occupancy detection from multiple locations gives great flexibility and sensing coverage.

Key Card Switch Occupancy

The key card switch is largely applicable to the hospitality industry but it has some other opportunities as well. Insert the card after entering the room and the lighting becomes active and the temperature control returns to normal operation from a setback. Remove the card, and after a variable egress time out has counted down, the lighting will shut down and temperature will set back.

Front door switch and occupancy senso

A more passive system for occupancy detection for both the hotel or dorm room is to lock in occupancy based on door movement. If the front door moves the controller knows it via a transmission from a magnet contact switch, the controller then looks for occupancy if it is detected, then the room stays in its occupied state until the door moves again.

Turn any off the shelf occupancy sensor into a wireless device

Echoflex ERDRC series of controllers have the added benefit of providing a 24v secondary and trigger for powering sensors. Not only will the devices activate or deactivate their loads based on this input, they will also transmit this as a wireless signal to other control devices. Need a sensor that can not be self powered but want the benefits of wireless, this is the answer.
