How do I assign or link a switch or sensor to a controller?

Echoflex controllers (as with all EnOCean receivers) are equipped with a LEARN button that when pressed, sets the controller into LEARN mode.In LEARN mode, you can assign switches and sensors or remove them if they have already been assigned to the controller.

To assign a switch:

Step 1: Press the LEARN button on the controller for one second. The LEARN led will come ON solid and the POWER led will blink when in LEARN mode.

Step 2: Click the switch you are assigning to the controller ON (the ON side is identified on the back with a "1", OFF as "0"). The POWER led will stay ON for four seconds while the controller memorizes the radio ID of the switch. The led will resume blinking once the radio ID is saved allowing other switches to be assigned to the controller. A maximum of 30 devices can be assigned to a controller.

NOTE: Some Echoflex controllers require the switch to be clicked three times for assignment.

Step 3: Exit LEARN mode by pressing the LEARN button on the controller again for one second. The LEARN led will go OFF and the POWER led will begin a blinking pattern.
