What makes the Echoflex products friendly to the environment?

Echoflex products are environmentally friendly in three ways.

1. As a wireless technology, there is a significant reduction in the amount of wire (copper) used. It is estimated that a 450 square meter space that is wireless will save approximately 1 kilometer of copper wire.

2. There are many wireless solutions available but only EnOcean wireless devices are self powered. Self powered meaning they do not require batteries - EVER. The savings in terms of the environmental disposal issues associated with batteries is significant. Every year 100's of millions of batteries go into the landfills.

3. The least visible but largest environmental factor to consider is that the Echoflex products are designed to optimize energy use by lighting circuits, heating/cooling equipment and othe electrical appliances. Energy savings through needs based lighting and room use is significant. Savings in excess of 50% of the current costs can be achieved. As more consumed energy is saved, the need to build or acquire energy from other sources reduces.
