Switching Control from your hospital bed

Typical hospital bed lighting is an overhead fixture with an up light and a down light, operated by a pull chain switches which break regularily. Adding more wires is not an option. Echoflex has developed a hospital bed switch with anti-microbial silicone cover for wipe downs that is mounted right to the bed frame. This with a two channel receiving controller give patient control of the lights and as the controllers will learn multiple switches the opportunity to add control at the door for the nurse on duty, providing great flexibility.

 Outpatient Care At Home

Caring for a family member post surgically or during times of sickness, and knowing when they need attention can be a constant task of back and forth, especially at night. For example, Echoflex has had two incidents requiring that family members attend to the needs of the children, one after a terrible playground accident which resulted in a compound fracture to the femer and secondly, just a simple wisdom teeth removal. In each case, alerting the family to their needs was as simple as removing the 3 way switch from the master bedroom and putting it on the table beside their beds. They need help they toggled the switch which flashed the lights. Once recovered the switch was simply returned to the master bedroom.
