Open office cubicle farm

Quantum Lighting took an interesting approach to a lighting solution recently.

They installed two full circuit controllers(ER1C B 120/347 to handle two zones of lighting in a large open cubicle area. At the same time they upgraded the fixtures. A main switch was used to turn on the two zones (each controller/receiver learned the same switch).  They installed a smaller receiver in the fixtures directly above each work space to control half of the lighting load (RCM255). When the master switch is turned on all lights come on at 50%, the other 50% is turned on by the worker directly below the fixture above, only when necessary. A wireless switch located at each cubicle (individual controller/receivers in the fixtures learned the switch directly below them) is used to activate the balance of 50% to give 100% lighting when necessary.

When the master is turned off at the end of the day it resets itself back to 50%.
