Representative Responsibilities:

  • Performs assigned project tasks under direct supervision of more senior-level engineers.
  • Participates in the development effort under the direction of management and more senior team members
  • Makes design modifications or improvements to development projects with supervision
  • Maintains project reference documentation.
  • Develops test and verification procedures
  • May be involved in continuing engineering maintenance and manufacturing floor support of existing products. 
  • Provides task completion time estimates. 
  • Schedules and attends identified training classes.
  • Participates as a team member, works effectively in a team environment
  • Becomes familiar with tools and applications utilized by department.
  • Learns department and corporate policies, procedures and plans.
  • Perform Circuit Analysis and simulation.
  • Support new product design and troubleshoot technical issues related to manufacturability and quality issues.
  • Perform basic analog and digital circuit designs and schematic capture.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Completes special projects and assignments in a positive and timely manner

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 0-3 years of job related experience

Engineer Level Position:

  • As an entry level engineer I, this position has had little prior exposure to formal engineering or processes.
  • The focus of this role is to attend necessary job related training and become familiar with the process and procedures utilized in the Organization
  • Employee uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instruction, but refers deviations, problems, and unfamiliar situations not covered by instructions to supervisor for decision or help
  • Supervisor assures that finished work and methods used are technically accurate and in compliance with instructions or established procedures. 
  • Review of the work increases with more difficult assignments if employee has not previously performed similar assignments.
  • Situations to which the existing guidelines cannot be applied or significant proposed deviations from the guidelines are referred to the supervisor
