Inside Sales Support

Representative Responsibilities:

  • Work with area sales managers to identify key projects and work with the distributors and contractors on those projects to ease the installation process.
  • Generates pricing and Bills of Materials per customer requests according to deadlines
    • Designs lighting control systems based on customer information
    • Interprets plans and specifications
    • Calculates pricing based on equipment list
    • Prepares quotation documents
  • Manages quotations activity for a sales territory and manages the relationships with distributors and contractors
  • Communicates concerns to regional sales managers and answers all calls from customers
  • Performs configurations for standard and custom product
  • Provides sales support
    • Answers questions of regional managers
    • Explains sales policies to systems customers
    • Determines when to articulate concerns about given jobs
  • Answers new customer inquiries
  • Answers internal factory inquiries
    • Answers calls from Tech services about pricing on customer replacement parts
    • Answers questions from Area Sales Manager regarding quotations
  • Assist area sales manager in laying out the system to make sure the system works as desired in an efficient and clear manor.
  • Provides Echoflex systems installation support for installing contractors
    • Ensures timely arrival to customer site through project management, department scheduler, and site contact
    • Ensures system meets customer requirements
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
    • Must be able to work with limited supervision
    • Able to explain difficult technical concepts in easy to understand terms
    • Must be able to work within a Union environment
    • Must show patience and display a clear interest in getting the project done right and getting the contractors involved.
  • Establishes and maintains relations with Echoflex dealers, reps, contract technicians, consultants, contractors and end users
    • Ensures Echoflex is projected in a professional and enthusiastic manner
    • Provides feedback on product service issue and concerns to supervisor/manager, R&D, Manufacturing Test, Quality Group, and Product Managers
  • Remains current on changes in policies, procedures, and product offerings
    • Ensures product knowledge is up-to-date
    • Reviews and improves existing procedures on a regular basis
    • Remains current on City, State and National Energy codes
  • Other duties as assigned
    • Complete special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline
  • 4-6 years of job-related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of an Inside Sales Support Person
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks without general supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Lighting Control systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Candidate must show the ability to constantly improve, innovate, and regularly offer suggestions to make Echoflex’ approach to architectural projects better
  • Strong degree of flexibility and independence
  • Computer skills
  • Must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license
